Hemophilia Philippines (HAPLOS Community) Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of the “2018 Hemophilia and Other Inherited Bleeding Disorders Needs Assessment Survey”!

This survey was made together with the Canadian Hemophilia Society as part of the ongoing WFH Hemophilia Organization Twinning Program, a 4-year commitment to improve the organizational capabilities and services of the Philippine NMO.

The goal of this survey is to learn more about the present condition of persons with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders in the Philippines. The main objective of this survey is to assess the needs of persons with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders to formulate a broad strategic plan for short term, midterm, and long term.

This will help HAPLOS, affiliates and chapters determine the programs and services it should offer. The data collected will also be useful data that HAPLOS can use to support its advocacy efforts with government and other institutions.

We highly encourage everyone in the hemophilia community to answer this survey. It can be answered separately by persons with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders, and their family members. If a child cannot answer on his own, his parent/guardian can also answer the survey for him. Any carers/caregivers can also answer this survey, since we want to include their input in our study.

We encourage all participants to answer truthfully and to the best of their ability.

We assure all participants that all information will be kept confidential, and any identifying information will not be traceable to the persons who answer this survey. This survey will be conducted starting July 17, 2018.
